(1) Autocalibrate is our proprietary chart delivery and calibration software which is included with the BRIDGE, SHORE BASE and MARIMSYS Server systems. This software uploads the chart images to the program and calibrates or georeferentiates the images within the chart plotting system. This is our standard method of chart delivery for which there is no extra charge.

To update existing Marimsys Charts:
new data - add new data input cost at $0.0025 / line (subtract applicable
data volume discount), existing data in our database is included in the production of
later charts at no additional cost.
generate the new cartography – normal Chart production cost less the
applicable discount.
There is no charge for Internet transmission (FTP or Mail), or for adjusting the size of electronic chart images. There is a charge for changing the media, for instance from a standard chart file image to an image for printing. Transport of paper and FAX images are billed at cost.
Temperature, catch, environmental, fleet and statistical charting are performed on a "per project" basis.
Client's data: When we do charting work with client data, such as data from Marimsys BRIDGE, both the incoming data and the finished charts are property of the Client. Marine Imaging Systems guards the privacy and security of this client data and charts, and information about this data and charts.
Third-party data: Charts such as the Satellite Bathymetry and mGal charts are made from data belonging either to Marine Imaging Systems or other institutions. While there is no guarantee that the same chart will not be made for another client, Marine Imaging Systems does maintain the privacy of the client order, e.g. we do not divulge who has ordered charts in which area.
Chart Licensing
Chart images are licensed for the use of the particular client, this is to specifically
include vessels in their own fleet. This license does not include vessels in other
allied or common ownership fleets without specific authorization. The license does
include the right to copy image files and paper images within the particular fleet.
